The Dodge Journey is a practical SUV that is loaded with enough creature comforts and technology to satisfy the most discriminating driver. With three rows of seats, the whole family or the whole gang will fit comfortably. When you need more cargo space than seating, the second- and third-row seats fold flat to make a spacious 67 feet of cargo space. Available booster seats for the second row will give your little ones a safe place to ride while they watch DVDs or play video games on the available rear-seat video system. You’ll love the under-the-floor storage compartments that double as a cooler (when you add ice) behind the front seats. Moreover, the rear doors open at a 90-degree angle for easy access.
Looking for adventure? Ready to take a journey? Whether you’re taking a journey across the state or across town, be prepared for your trip with the new 2019 Dodge Journey. With lots to offer, especially on the inside of the cabin, you and your family will actually enjoy the long road trips. While the kids are enjoying the rear-entertainment system in the back, adults can enjoy the heated seats in the front.
The 2019 Dodge Journey is offered in several different trims. These include: SE, Crossroad, and GT. A favorite of Dodge Journey fans isn’t the trims themselves, but the amount of custom packages there are to choose from. Drivers can enjoy numerous packages which include the Connectivity package, Comfort/Convenience package, Blacktop package, or Premium package. With so many options, buyers will be able to make the 2019 Journey uniquely their own.
The Dodge Journey was first introduced in 2009 as a family midsized crossover SUV. However, it made its first appearance in 2007 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It indirectly replaced the Dodge Magnum and was built on a car-like platform. The Journey offered the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines right from the beginning. An array of standard features included side-curtain airbags, air conditioning, an MP3-compatible stereo system, Electronic Stability Program, and antilock brakes.
The V6 Pentastar engine was installed in the 2011 Journey, giving a 20 percent improvement in performance. The grille was modified, the interior was redesigned, and the new Dodge logo was used. The American Value Package came out in 2012, which included a 4.3-inch Uconnect media center. The front and rear fascias were redesigned in 2014, and the Crossroad trim was added. The Crossroad featured a large bumper, a black grille, smoked tail- and headlights, rocker panels, and chrome accents in the interior and along the lower body. In 2016, the Limited and AVP trim levels were discontinued to make room for the Crossroad Plus.
